Innovating across the sector

Across the Diverse Academies there are a number of ways in which our colleagues collaborate on research initiatives and share best practice, alongside developing strategy.

Team networking and operational working groups lead on focused areas of teaching, learning and business functions, drawing on experience from both within and outside of our partnership – to ensure our organisation is at the forefront of education.

Regional connectivity

Through our teaching school, our commitment to working widely across our region is best exemplified. TVTSA has two OLEVI accredited quality assurance consultants/coaches and carries out a number of quality assurances for other centres across the Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber regions.

TVTSA has recently worked closely with a group of schools and the local authority in Rotherham to support and deliver a series of OLEVI programmes – aimed at sharing best practice, useful information and ideas in a collaborative environment. Under the steer of TVTSA, this hub of schools has now become an OLEVI facilitation centre in its own right. Alongside the neighbouring Redhill TSA, TVTSA jointly leads the Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire Science Learning Partnership and is an Early Excellence Hub.

Funding further development

Over the last two years, our alliance has also successfully bid for additional funding to drive school improvements and career progression.
